YES CHEF!

WOAH, sch was tiring but i think i will get used to it soon. had to wake up 6am (earlier than during sec sch!) and earliest i reach home is 630pm! (except fri)
EVERDAY, have to iron my jacket, hat, apron n neckerchief. plus, need to bring a heavy knife set n neatly ironed clothes to sch! ohh! n hair need to be all combed up (no baby hair falling or flying ard) n wear a as hard as rock or diamond boot!
First Day
Cooked: NTH! had knife cuts!
we need to report (fully dressed) at 750 n pratically 90% of us r late.. lucky they let us off for the first day. or dunno wat marks will be deducted. first day was okay except tt it was dam tiring!(maybe i'm not used to it) wear tt hardy shoe home n reached home at ard 630. had to do 1)carrot precise cuts, (ard 2 hrs, need to use ruler to measure n had to be uniform)
2)eat dinner,
3)bathe,
4)slack for a while,
5)print recipes for the nxt day,
6)iron clothes (30mins)
7)n slp at 12 the latest.
so 7 to 12 is like 5 hrs to do all those things! see all these, tt's my life for now..
TuesDay
Cooked: chicken n brown veal stock (stock is a soup base, cant be served)
day 2 was better, not late but still had carrot cuts at home. know quite a lot of new frens n my buddy in the kitchen is... XIANG AI! haha! she's nice n cute, n we get along veri well! lucky i got a good partner or else.. u still need to work wif him/her.
WednesDay
Cooked: onion soup, chicken broth, roux (roux is flour+fat(butter), a thickener)
busiest n the longest in the kitchen n i'm the sous chef! (tt's 2, they r in case in the kitchen, rushing the other chefs to summit their dishes for assess on time etc=leader) my gosh! i was stunned when the chef put my name, but not too bad la. worked well wif xiang, teamwork! haha! n washing is the most not fun part!
ThursDay
Cooked: broccoli cream soup, consumme (consumme is a dam clear soup)
this day, xiang became the sous chef! haha! n i found kitchen was fun! looking forward to fri!
Friday
Cooked: tomato sauce, bechamel n espagnole (sauces, thick)
n fri came, xiang told me she got a bad feeling for the day but i think it's okay.. then came the series of 'bad feelings'..
lst, my auntie came looking for me during my break n made me lost my appetite but i still ate some food.
frm 2nd, it's all in the kitchen. the time is really limited n all these little things really made me irritated. the milk boiled n spill, the sink choked, knock my head hard on a dunno wat thing n had a while of concussion, chef J tot we r playing when we r juz tasting our sauce.(since both of us r sous chef be4, she know our names) chef J shouted at us for not serving our sauce when the one beside us was still stirring theirs.
THE WORSE! we need to strain our espagnole be4 serving but we got a bit confuse cos we keep hearing "pls come out n strain ur espagnole" so xiang asked C..
Xiang: how do we strain our espagnole?
C: bring out, tat's strainer thr..
Xiang: but we haven assess yet, still bring out n strain?
C: yes! tt's strainer outside.
so we stupidly believed him n bring the whole pot outside n we r scolded n shouted by chef J again!-.- dam tt C!
overall was still okay.. but tt's not the friday i'm looking for.. tsk!
got home quite early at 6, but need to leave home at 650 cos tt's trg! so have a quick nap for 15mins n went to prepare things. after trg, my eyelids were like so heavy tt i can slp anywhr! went to eat wif sh, sy n lh n went home, slp!
tt's ENL coming n they r making twice a week trg! probably tues n fri.. wahh! tues i end at 6 n i had to rush to knc wif all my knife sets, uniform n boots! i dun wan, cos they r veri heavy n expensive! if i go home first, i maybe late for trg n i need to run 6 rds ard 6 netball court! ahh! n trg end at ard 10 or later? reach home ard 11plus.. slp at 12?! no way! still need to iron clothes, bathe, print recipes! zzz! omg!! nvm, i can print the recipes be4 hand..
the weather is freaking hot! make ppl get irritated easily! lucky i still get the same break as those in my clinque although diff class! n sat is the time to replenish my slp! haha!:DD
OHYEA! n .... got DBSK'S AUTOGRAPH! so good! she got it during 2003, when dbsk came to sg wif BOA to a mtv award! O.O!
